An animated detective series that I write, direct, illustrate, and animate. It was selected to screen at the 2014 New York Television Festival, was mentioned in Variety magazine, and played at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater as part of their monthly Channel 101 video competition from 2014-2017. Along the way, it set the record for longest running show in Channel 101 NY history, and won awards for “Best Show” and “Best Writing” in Channel 101’s end-of-year awards show in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
A children's show featuring live actors, cartoon characters, puppets, and more, of which I’m the Director of Animation. Since the show began in 2011, it's been viewed more than one billion times on YouTube, accumulated nearly one million subscribers, and has featured cross-promotions with companies including Sesame Street, PBS Kids, and Curious George. It also encompasses a read-along app, and a series of graphic novels. Plus, we get fan art and mail from kids around the globe.
An animated aquatic action-adventure, painstakingly made in stop-motion with thumbtacks and rubber bands on a bulletin board. Screened at multiple international film festivals, and won a $10,000 prize in a student film competition.
The tale of a lost fish, drawn frame-by-frame in Photoshop. For this assignment, we were given a word to use as the basis for an environment, and an adjective to use as the basis for a character: I was given "subterranean" and "dizzy."
