Nwar

An animated detective series that I write, direct, illustrate, and animate. It was selected to screen at the 2014 New York Television Festival, was mentioned in Variety magazine, and played at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater as part of their monthly Channel 101 video competition from 2014-2017. Along the way, it set the record for longest running show in Channel 101 NY history, and won awards for “Best Show” and “Best Writing” in Channel 101’s end-of-year awards show in 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Cool School

A children's show featuring live actors, cartoon characters, puppets, and more. Produced by Driver Studios, of which I’m the Vice President of Creative. Since the show began in 2011, it's been viewed more than one billion times on YouTube, accumulated over one million subscribers, and has featured cross-promotions with companies including Sesame Street, PBS Kids, and Curious George. It also encompasses a read-along app, and a series of graphic novels and illustrated children's books. Plus, we get fan art and mail from kids around the globe.

Harper Collins: What If, Pig?

Promotional video for the Harper Collins children’s book, “What If, Pig?” This is one example of many animations I’ve made based on page layouts and illustrations from books.

Fox: Dance Squad

A reality show produced for Fox, featuring dance choreography inspired by movies such as the Greatest Showman, Home Alone, Ice Age, and more. I edited this episode, and supervised editing of the rest of the series, which ran for over 50 episodes. Produced by Driver Studios.

Sesame Street: E is for Engineer

A short interstitial about engineering for kids, which I edited and has appeared in multiple episodes of Sesame Street on TV.

Thomson Reuters: Motion Graphics

Selected motion graphics animations from the dozens that I've made for Thomson Reuters, the international news and finance company.

Nickelodeon: Snackdown

A reality show produced for Nickelodeon, featuring gross-out cooking challenges. I edited this episode, and supervised editing for the entire 12 episode series. Produced by Driver Studios.

The Birds and the BS

A musical political comedy web series featuring animated versions of real Broadway guests including Mandy Patinkin, Bernadette Peters, Alan Cumming, Sutton Foster, and more. I illustrated and animated every episode.

Board to Death

Stop-motion animated with thumbtacks and rubber bands on a bulletin board. Screened at multiple international film festivals, and won a $10,000 prize in a student film competition.

Fish Out of Water

Drawn frame-by-frame in Photoshop, for an assignment in which every animator was given a word to use as the basis for an environment, and an adjective to use as the basis for a character: I was given "subterranean" and "dizzy."
